No. Spody is explicitly not a dating app. It exists for one thing: finding people to do sport with. The whole experience is built around activities, not profiles to swipe.

Spody is free to download and use to find and join activities.

Any sport — running, football, tennis, basketball, climbing, cycling, yoga, swimming, padel, hiking and many more. You choose the sports you practice, and you can pick as many as you like.

Activities appear on a map and in a list you can filter by city, sport and more, so you can quickly find something that fits where you are and when you’re free.

Yes. You can propose an activity by setting a sport, a start (and optional end) location, a start time and an optional level or duration. As the owner, you manage the activity and the people who join.

Yes — every activity has its own group chat for everyone who joined, so you can coordinate the details and meet up with confidence.

Yes — Spody is for adults only, 18 and over. You need to be at least 18 to finish signing up: we ask for your date of birth to check it, and it is never shown on your profile.

Spody is for sport, not dating, and gives you tools to report and block. We recommend meeting in public places and bringing a friend when it makes sense. See our Safety page for the full picture.
